The switch that lights up red?

Hi everyone, just bought my first 4x4 , 3rd Gen SSR-X in pearl silver I think.?
I don't know what the switch on the drivers side dashboard is for, it lights up red when on. Doesn't seem like it does anything.
Any help would be appreciated

One more question, can I fit my aftermarket usb bluetooth stereo and also have the original standard cd and cassette unit still working? If so how do I do it?

I think you can swap a Lexus LS400 steering wheel over. Karmasupra IIRC has done this.

Not sure I'd want to lose the airbag. Y'know, just in case...

Don't mind losing the airbag, im sure whatever I hit will be worse off than me. Lexus ls400 steering wheel would be perfect.

Hi,

the airbag could save your bacon, regardless of the size of what you hit.

Keep the airbag and the 'uncool' wheel.

The stereo is standard din and standard wires. you need to pull the lower plastics away (round the gear selector) and up to be able to take off the surround. take care with the heater controls, they are delicate and come off after you take off the heater sliders and before the stereo surround.
