  • Orange OD light Flashing on Instrument Panel

    3.0L KZN 130 1994-5

Since having flat batteries a month ago I now have no speedo and the orange OD warning light flashing on the instrument panel.

The ECU was disconnected and reconnected whilst trying to restart the vehicle.

The overdrive appears to be working correctly.

Any thoughts please as to how to deal with this.

the flashing od light is indicating a fault, you need to read the codes to determine the fault. do a search for fault codes and how to read them

Most likely you are not getting a signal from the sensor on the transfer box that feeds the ECU and speedo. It has a three wire connector +12V, Gnd, and Signal

          Speedo probably dead.
