Do I have a field monitor or something else?

in my '96 3rd gen surf, where the field monitor is (compass , temp etc), mine doesn't seem to have this , but the menu is all in japanese so i can't work it out.
I have buttons saying 'menu' , 'page' and up , down , left , right etc. Seems to be different from other buttons i have seen on pics of field monitors.
Mine has like a trip computer up there - average speed , distance travelled etc.
Is there any instructions anywhere on how to use the field monitor so i might be able to find compass display etc ?

They are pretty rare!

Works with GPS I believe, like a field monitor with a few more elaborate features.

No further info tho I'm afraid.

It's a GPS field monitor. Probably won't work in the UK anyway.
