Airbag light

Hi folks, parked my truck up last night and when i got in it this morning my airbag light has come on and wont go off even if the ignition is cycled, does anybody have any fault finding tips for me before i go to a garage to have a diagnostics done?

Disconnecting the battery/ies for half an hour might reset the warning light, if not then it's a trip to the dealer or buy one of those cheaper ECU code scanners and do it yourself.

Does the engine check light flash at all?

Nope no other lights at all just the airbag light! I'll try the batteries tomorrow and see if that works thanks for taking the time to reply tho!
