  • Switching bulbs?

Can anyone tell me the technical description or a Toyota part no. of the minute wedge base bulbs fitted in the dashboard switches (idle-up, hazards, defogger, etc.)? Maybe T2s? - T1s?

Hi, presuming these are the ones you are after?

The big lamps are T-10, the small ones ate T-5 if i remember right .

    Hope this of help,

'fraid not, Wiggy - but thanks for responding. Yes, these are 'T' type wedge mount bulbs but much smaller than T-5s. They fit into the sides of the switch bodies and if the number reflects the width in mm, like T-5s and T-10s, these would probably be T-1s or T-2s - they're tiny.

Have a look on the t4r.org site, they just have petrol engines and the steering on the wrong side. There are loads of bulb threads on there.

Sure they will be using the same bulbs as we get.

Found the answer! - they're T-1s - 1mm diameter. Toyota part no. 84998-10720. Thanks to everyone who pitched in.
