Speedo display

Hi guys, had my surf 3 years now, never let me down. All the time i've had it, the speedo clock never lit up, (illuminated). Yesterday replaced the clocks, coz the speedo stopped working, and the o/d light kept flashing.
The replacement cluster solved this problem, and also had an illuminated speedo. But within half an hour, the right half of speedo is in darkness again.
Any thoughts guys. Cheers.

Check the bulbs are working m8 if not some on auction site i just got some for mine not expensive
