After sorting the alternator problem I decided to put some new belts on. In the mean time it stopped charging at Idle dash lights coming on (battery,fuel filter and a/t temp) for some reason I fitted the belts this evening because these lights had become a permanent fixture (what a complete pain in the arse of a job in the dark and rain) and hey presto no difference not even if revved not showing on voltmeter or with a multimeter direct to the batteries. The lights will go out if I pull the 7.5a fuse under the bonnet but it still dosn't charge. any suggestions?
