Inter cooler fan

Hi all, question for the ones in the know.Ive pulled out all my air con and was wondering could I use the connection and switch for the air con to operate my intercooler fan. Many thanks up front Mick:

I'd check for 12v at the connector that goes to the air con pump clutch. If it still gets 12v after you've ripped out all the air con bits then use it to power a relay for the fan. Make sure you fuse the 12v feed to the relay for the fan.
