control unit in tail gate

Installed spoiler with sliding mirror, came off ssrg and retro fitted to ssrx. loom from ssrg was different to the ssrx loom ( ssrg had loom coming off for the sliding mirror ) ssrx didn't have this. plugged new loom in and everything worked ok ( lights, wiper, window.) where the original switch is located for the sliding mirror ( on the center console ) i inspected area under console and a loom with plug was in place for the sliding mirror switch, so connected switch and nothing was working mirror not functioning, but did notice the break light on the spoiler did work. i think it could be down to the control box in the tailgate or might be a fuse or could just be the switch.

does anyone know what fuse i would need to check ? or could it be down to the control box ? any help appreciated

looks like im on my own with this one

update, carried out quick test to loom going to switch, and no live feeds, so may not be the switch.
could it be a fuse or some type of sender unit

after spending some time today, looking for where the loom to the switch went to try and work out why no power was getting to switch, i just happened to notice a second loom with plug tucked away. plugged in and mirror now working
