Hi all, i am again trying to help my best friend fix his ailing J reg. 2.4 diesel auto hilux surf.
The internal switch has stopped working, that opens the rear door window. He has traced the problem to a faulty or non existent earth, BUT he is unable to find where earth wire is earthed to, he thinks maybe the body somewhere.
He wonders also if this could be something to do with the Air Con compressor pump, does this earth to the same place ?, as both of these have stopped working at, he thinks, the same time. Following on from another very helpful post he has only just found out where the Air Con Compressor pump fuse is, which he is going to check on soon (behind the glove box), but in the meantime he was wondering if the two were linked in some way, probably not, but he wanted me to ask.
