window help needed,1991 2.4 surf

hi there,can anyone help with this one as it has me stumped,the passenger window stopped working yesterday stuck in the up mode,i thought the motor had gone but that works fine,but it will only go in one direction via the passenger window switch and will not work at all when i use the main drivers one,i have tried swapping the switches with my mates one but its the same,is there a relay that goes barmy on these..cheers

sometimes the cables brake inside the flexi rubber it come out of the driver door you just need to open it and see if there is any broken did that on mine welded them 2 cables and sorted.
