1991 2.4td Radio, issues!!!

Help, wiring in a CD headunit into a my surf and have probs. used the wiring diagram off your site for a 3.0L 94 model, dont think i should have! can't find the wire(s) to make the antenna move (reamining wires are listed below), but then got more problems... when I turned the ignition on to power the head unit the side lights turned on, when I used the stalk to actually turn the side lights on, the stareo stayed live, but lost sound! HELP!!!! Can anybody help a newbie with his first 2 problems!!!

Remaining unused wires:

Colour, Stripe, Dot

white, black, silver
pink, blue, silver
black, red, silver
green double silver dot..

I cant put it back as was, came with no plugs on end, just bare wires wrapped in tape...

Hi you should be able to buy the "ORIGINAL" plugs from halfords to make the loom back to standard, and then buy the adapter for your head unit. Sounds long windered but it will connect everything up the right way.
