Hi,
I am trying to source a digital climate control for a 99 3 ltr surf. The one I have works but the lights don't work above the buttons which is alright but I don't know when the ac is on. Also at night there is no light on the screen. I have been to the Toyota dealer for a repair but they said they don't repair just replace it with a new one at £700. Is there anyone that can repair them in U.K. There is someone in the U.S.A that repairs them for $150, but I would like to get it repaired in U.K. Any ideas??.

We have recently fixed a couple of Toyota Landcruiser Instrument clusters. They are prone to having faulty Gauges. The most common is the tacho giving erratic readings, Jumping from 2000 too 4000Rpm instantly then not going over 4000Rpm when the engine clearly is.

Oldish thread I know but wth! I've just replaced the bulbs in my climate control unit with 4 LEDs and they only cost buttons. Got them on ebay. Look for "Neo Wedge LED". You need 2 of the T3 and 2 of the T4. £0.99p for a pair plus £1 shipping. I went for the green colour to keep as original but they do red, blue, white, orange and even a UV purple.

Hi,
I have had no luck getting a second hand climate control unit. That is with trying to find it world wide and after two years looking. I tried to buy a new one from Toyota which would cost about £1300 but they could not supply the plastic outer. In the end I bought a Rav 4 one and apart from the unit fasteners being the wrong way round I have managed to fix it in place and it works perfectly.
