Hi all, need help from them in the know

Sunday on the lakes run, I was going through the stream, and was thinking how do I waterproof the electrics and engine for next time I go into the water so I don’t get water logs and have to sit there in the water looking like a dipstick. I have looked everywhere on the forum, but cant see it anywhere. Can anyone tell me where to look or tell me how to do waterproofing?

    Thanks for any help given

Just dont go above the front bumper with water if you can help it as you will get water going through the air intake. A SNORKEL is required if you go deep water wading

You generally don't have to worry about about electrics on a deisel, its only petrol motors that don't like to get wet.

Just keep water out of the air intake and you'll do fine.

You can extend your diff breathers to somewhere higher, in case the factory breathers are stuck open, if you really want to go to town.

And make sure all door seals are in good nick.
