headlight loom upgrade

hi guys does anyone have and before and after pics of light output when upgrading headlight loom

trying to decide on upgrading loom and higher watt bulbs or new spots that can take 100w bulbs

tried them mate really don't want to go through the effort of upgrading the loom if its not worth it

i have osram nightbreaker + in and they are bright but want a little more either out of these or 100w bulbs

starting to think better putting a pair of spot on but cant find any that aren't bling that will take 100w bulbs unless i can use 100w in my existing ring ones but they are plastic so don't know if the uprated bulbs would met the housing

I have the 4crawler loom in my truck, it's worth it.

If you DIY, the headlamp warning light won't work and I think the Surf uses switched negatives, not switched positives.

Yes.
There used to be a full circuit diagram for the uprated loom for negative switched wiring, thats the one to use.
As for difference my surf lights are now on par with my 05 mondeo.
Search through my posts, one of them has all the info you need, with links to suppliers this side of the pond.
