Starter motor problems

Hello all. I have a 3.0 3rd gen and then stater is playing up.
Have got the starter on the bench, solenoid throws out the gear but it doesn't spin.
Presuming problem with motor side of things, any ideas on what needs replacing?
Any help would be great. Thanks, steve

Contacts. Kit available from Roughtrax.

Open it up, you'll find that the plunger contact, and the two side contacts are manky / fried.
