I found this when installing my remote start alarm to my 3rd gen....
I thought it might be worth posting here, for the sake of the search feature as I stuggled to find what I needed.

while I am at it.... if you are looking for the VSS cable for sat nav, you can get a feed from the back of the instrument cluster from the screww called "sen" the chances are if you have had your clocks converted to MPH there will already be a wire going there....
While you are there your sat nav might require a reverse feed, I took mine from the + that feeds the reverse beaker (you'll see it on the back of the dash)
I also took the tachometer signal from there, there is another screw take off I think (from memory) it was called tmp.......
