To save me rolling around in the wet, does anyone know where the ATF temp transmitter is on a 3rd gen. Is it in the sump pan somewhere ?

Small round plug on the fitting on the outlet pipe where it connects onto the transmission.
You'll still need to roll around in the wet to get at it!
