possibly both the rad n matrix are leaking, change both then keep a very close eye on the levels in the rad itself, do not rely on what is in the expansion tank. If water is missing after you have these changed then there's likely head problems unless its leaking from hoses too, personally I'd be inclined to be swapping over the good stuff from your donor, including your gear shift mechanism if it looks the same to save on the fault finding, but definitely sort out your water problems first or you will be left with 2 donors and zilch to drive. H

all water levels checked & topped up........but TADAH!!!!! think have sussed the soggy carpet prob........seal at bottom corner of windscreen (passenger side) is leaking......looks like has been happening for a while, as has gone a green on closer inspection......& found source of drip!!!

Defo will be keeping eye on levels & rad.....(do you reckon we could take rad off Bertha....& put on new one...? If so....will need to find new home for her engine first???)
