Should I Cut The Blue Wire?

I am currently returning the electrics in my surf back to there original state after a previous owner has hacked about with them. I have just finished reinstalling the rear window relay and switch but I am left with a blue wire, does anyone know what this is for? This is in the rear quarter panel, please see attached pics. its the trailer socket fog light wire.

what is its feed, is it controlled from the center console front spot light switch or is the a plastic conector provided somewehere for a rear fog light switch? Thanks

I normally just link it to the fog light wiring. Assuming you have one. Lots of people don't bother wiring it up.
