Has anybody got one of these?

Are they any good, for around £250 they seem a bit of a bargain if they work.

Mine's quite similar to that one - I imagine they are all knocked out in a couple of Chinese factories.
It has done me well on the couple of occasions I have used it. It wont be as fast or reliable or efficient as say a Warn, but then again how often do you end up using it?
One point to note about the rating is that it is generally only for the last wind of the drum and a lot less when most of the cable is on the drum.
I also uprated the cabling to mine with 35mm2 cable as it came with only 25mm2, which I consider insufficient for the current draw.

Thanks, I'll look in to the cabling, the pull should be good enough - 12000 lbs is 5400ish kg's
