    Central locking only activated from drivers door...is this normal and correct ?

      Apart from the lack of Multimode transmission, my Surf pretty much works !

        better than mine then

        i have a 58 reno van, 00 seat ibiza, 51 mgzr,92 disco and a surf all with central locking and with the key they all only work on the drivers door.
        Surf.gone but not forgottendisco now gone aswell

          add Honda accord to that list, are all cars not the same? I can't see the makers bothering with the extra wiring/sensors/relays etc for cost reasons, or, the simple fact that if you are in possession of the keys you should be driving and not just sitting in the passy seat. H

            Aye, that would seem very logical, although I'm sure A Citroen I had many years ago worked from both sides..

              Yeah, my Galaxy, Megane and Previa work from both sides......Surfs don't seem to though!
