Hi, Hope someone can help.
We have a toyota surf ssr-x 1992. My other half thought it would be a quick job with changing the stereo in it and its caused all sorts of problems. He has fitted stereos in our other vehicles with no problems at all.
Firstly i have looked at several wiring diagrams and they all seem to have the wrong colours....is this because it is an import? Where can i find the relevant diagram?
Secondly, after following a diagram that didnt work it seems to have caused other electrical issues.
Usually when the key is in the ignition you get a beeping warning so you dont leave your keys in when you get out, now that is not working and the electric windows open without the ignition even being turned on!
Any ideas on what this could be?
