have 3ltr turbo diesel auto import and been told main ecu for gearbox and engin (combined)could be faulty, could ne 1 help me find one, and ecu print out as they have none to compare with, Toyota say this part number discontiued, ECU 89661-3D100,

If it is duff try stormforce he may have one for sale although i do believe rocking horse pooh is more common and repiar maybe the only option......

Thanks Paul will have totry after 10 days hols, had to buy volvo to tow caravan, couldnt get it fixed in time for Wed this week.

check your ecu, specially before you go letting the garage pull pumps and valves and injectors apart.
Ask if someone local to you would be willing to plug your unit into thier truck.
If it shows same symptoms your ecu is duff.

Hi and welcome.I am looking for another 3.0l breaker at the moment as i have no parts for one.
As Paul says see if another member with a 3.0l will let you use their truck to see if your ecu is ok or not.It won't cause any damage to their truck so they don't need to worry about that.
There are a few members in and around Brighton/Worthing areas so i'm sure one of them will be happy to help you out

bk from hols and discussed with other surf drivers sounds definate for ECU just been MOT 6months tax can get to 3 gear (Auto) but this is first prob with her the wife and i gong to sell her and perhaps get newer model (no import) so please feel free to make an offer.
