Why?? rear window relay swap

I have just taken the rear window control unit out of my scrapper and put it in my current truck. As soon as I plugged it in the rear window wiper started to work .... the unit itself won't allow the window up or down of either the switch in the cab or the key at the back.

I had hoped it would get the rear key working the window but no joy.

Smae year truck same engine but the units look a little different but will connect.

Anything obvious I have missed (the one from the scrapper did work fine)

has the key switch have anything to do with it?

Window lock on driver's door pressed in?

Tailgate latch sensors faulty?

"Corrosion on the keyswitch contacts" what do i need to do to sort this? can they be cleaned or is it a new lock?

Could ya not just strip out ya scrapper's parts Mark, replacing one bit at a time.
