not charging...??

I have done a search but no answers...??
All the dash lights are on and its sounds like an alarm screaming at me inside...
There is no charge going to the batteries..... i have tried 2 altenators and still no charge...?? however the second alt i tried there was no scream from the dash.. but still no charge...??

Any ideas...??

the last time i had this noise was when the alt was wet... but its not lol

You didn't really search, you just want an answer don't you?


1. Check fuses in box under bonnet.
2. Check belts are tight.
3. Check for disconnected or loose/broken wiring.
4. Check condition/tightness of battery terminals.
5. You've got two knackered alternators.

All done...... the only thing thats not checked is the second alternator...

Well its got one more chance then it'll be burning!!!!!!!
