Hi,

does anyone know if this model of the surf has cruise control?

i am sking cause i see that the 1997 4runner has cruise control, i was just wondering...

Mines a 96 SSR-G and it doesn't have this but there are some here that do, it all depends on whether or not the original owner specified it when it was bought.

There's talk of fitting after market cruise controls on here, search around and you'll find it. Doesn't sound too difficult.

On 2nd gens, the cruise control is a separate wee computer in front of the gear selector, so I'd imagine it's fairly easy to retro-fit one from a breaker. Don't know about 3rd gens though, but might be similar? You'd need the controls (new steering wheel?) as well.
