Interior lights

Hi
Have a problem with the interior lights , if anyone can help. The front and rear lights work ok when they are switched on manually, but the front doesn't work when the any of the doors are opened. I had a similar problem on my previous truck where the rear light didn't function when the doors were opened. New to surfs so dont really know where to start. Any advice please

Take the light fitting out of the ceiling and check the connections.
There are 2 positive connections if I remember correctly, one links from the panel switch and the other from the door switch.
On mine the pin that goes through the board had corroded away so I used an M2.5 nut and bolt and all is well again.

I'll have look at the weekend. Just bought this other 2nd Gen after sticking my 1st one in a ditch so I'll most probably be asking for loads more advice over the next few months when I've had a chance to have a real good look over it.
I'll let you know how I get on.
