80 amp glow fuse

Is the 80amp fuse main dealer only, Mine looks okay sort of bit black around the edge but not broken, having difficulty starting when cold got replacement batterys today as old ones would only turn over a few times before running flat.Can hear all relays doing what they supposed to have ordered some new glow plugs but the blooming fuse is alluding me.Any light shed would be great. Thankyou and we have snow typical since having hard time starting in morning.And Merry Christmas everybody

It's not a dealer part. Any decent motor factor or auto electrician will have them.

No have a Andrew page and a Wilco motorsave,when i asked them they didnt know what i was talking about,kept saying they dont do relaysIT'S A FUSE.Am popping into a bigger town over weekend probably end up in Halfords.Wouldnt be a problem but the vectra such a bag of pants in snow and ice.Given minus 7 for tonight.

Thankyou for that.When i go into these places they look at me like im daft or think they can give me any old twaddle because I dont fit the bill for knowing anything let alone getting down and fixing cars.

went to waterloo not sure if its just a East yorkshire shop or not but got ngk glow plugs and 80 amp fuse for £32.00 set to tomorrow.

that seems a very good price Tilly.Just be carefull when removing the glowplugs and note how you took the buzz bar off and the bolts and washers etc

what a day went out made a start fuse first,swore at fusebox blooming thing eventually got it flipped and existing fuse revealed,it wouldnt undo so called for husband to come out needing a mans strength.Changed fuse put it all back. Took buzz bar off then it snowed again well blizzard so cleaned bar up and decided to wait till a day when it has stopped snowing.Put it all together put batterys back on and YIPPEE fired no problems better then the having to get jump leads out every morning.So plugs are not urgent and can definatley wait till a day without snow.
