    Hi all

does anyone know if you can bench test a KPH/MPH converter to see that its actually doing its job or is it a case of swap and try?

Difficult to do accurately without a proper test rig what's the problem with it
is the speedo not working or is it just inaccurate?

hi mate, its not working at all and just wondered, if it was easy enough to set up and test, to give it a go before shelling out for a new one

There should be a wire cut behind the clock with two of the converter wire's joined to it if you rejoin the cut wire that will remove the converetr out of the circuit and the speedo should then work again in KMH if does check the live and earth feeds to the converter with a meter or test light if they are ok the unit requires replacing.
