I have searched the forums and can see there are quite a few people with speedo problems on Surfs but I have not seen anything that matches my issue so hopefully this hasn't already been asked before.
I have a 3rd Gen 3ltr TD Surf. When I bought it, it had already been converted so it records in MPH instead of KPH. Recently I have had an issue where the speedo is playing up.
Sometimes it won't work at all, sometimes it doesn't work and the O/D light flashes as well, sometimes it works fine and other times it won't work for anything between 1-10 mins and then kicks into life!
Can anyone advise what is likely to be causing this issue? Is it the MPH to KPH convertor or is it likely to be a wiring issue (2 things which I have seen on other posts on this forum)?
Also how much is it roughly going to cost to fix?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
