My 2.4 clunked, my 3.0 doesn't. Is this correct?

if you listen hard enough you will just hear it but not as loud as the 2.4 tho

I'll pay more attention in the morning. There is definitely less clicking on the 3.0L in general.

I know the 3.0l g/p relay is on the n/s inner wing but can't remember where the 2.4 one is.

Yep, I thought mine was broken!

there is a bit more room in the engine bay aswell with the turbo lower down

Don't worry Andy ain't heard mine in over 18 months n as for me Turbo it whistles bootifull mate ....ask Bushy or Farmerboy (Andrew)

My turbo whistles like mad too, I haven't had a motor with a turbo before and thought there was something wrong with it, till a friend of mine said it's supposed to do it.
