Hey guys just taken the truck for a spin and noticed that the dash lights were out. After looking a bit harder the side lights and rear lights were also out.

I have checked the 'dome' fuse and that's fine, also the 'tail' solenoid is clicking when I turn the indicator stalk, but no lights.

Is the solenoid broken? Does anyone know why the dash would also be out, as the ciggy point works and other bits work?

(no fuses under the dash or the ones in the engine bay seem blown)

Yeah ,had a look in my hand book , must be a common feed some
where as there are separate fuses for L/hand , R/hand head
lights and seperate one for the tail and stop lights .

Headlights are fine, but not the side lights.

Check the hazards circuit and switch.

And after me wondering what the issue was, it's fine this morning.

Must be the solenoid that's playing up. I could hear (and feel) it clicking when I was checking.

I'll wait till it stops again and then re-check.

                    Thanks for the help guys.

                      Well it's come back again.

I could hear the "tail" solenoid clicking, so I pulled it out and it went quiet.
Plugged it in and it's clicking again.

I then swapped it with another in the same box that is the same type and it still clicks and nothing.

So it seems that the solenoid is working fine, it's something else.

The rear lights still work (brake lights), but the dash and running lights dont.

                      Any ideas guys?

(I've rechecked the fuses and can't see any blown, and I've swapped the 10A "tail" one anyway)

and I've just gone to check the "tail" fuse for the 20th time, and it works again.

The front side lights needed a thump though to get them working.

I can only assume I've earthed something I shouldn't have (I have done a load of wiring lately - Digi TV, sub, 4x spot lights).

I'll pull it all apart and have a look.
