  • SORRY!!!! i have dashboard light issues....

sorry i tried searching this... but my inept brain must not be up to searching....

when ever i turn ignition to "on" my usual warning lights come up (lots of em),

but one that concerns me is A/T temp light, the orange one, does it stay lit up for anyone else till you start engine..... or have i got issues???

    i have an LN130

Have you checked the A/T fluid level? Just to be on the safe side so to speak.

If things are already getting too hot, the last thing you want to do is exacerbate the problem by doing a mod that will probably make it hotter.

Do some basic checks first, check the ATF if able to cool down, are the pipes between the transmission and cooling components OK? Is the rad blocked with mud/dirt, is the ATF still red/brown or is it darker brown/black?

It maybe the sensor is faulty, ask if Stormforce can help on a sale or return basis, it may cost a bit on shipping though...

its still a golden amber colour.... is it worth doing a complete flush of trans fluid??? were do i find the ATF cooling rad??? i was looking at a post on here about putting in a ATF rad in the position of the old aircon resevoir.....

If I'm reading your description correct, you're saying that the light illuminates when you turn on the ignition, but turns off when the engine is running, it does not illuminate when the engine is running.

If this is the case it's working correctly. Mine only goes out when the engine starts, or the ignition is switched off.

yeah but i can leave ignition on 5 mins and it will still stay on, my dash just looks like a blooming Christmas tree, and just trying to eliminate the bad ones and the ones that should still be there :P

I'm not seeing a problem then....if they come on with the ignition on and engine off, then that's what they are meant to do - if they stay on, when the engine is running, that's when you have issues that you need to look into

Relax, fix your prop and enjoy yourself
