wiring diagram for 4wd

Hi, I've not posted for a while, but still having trouble with my 4wd. The garage who specialize in 4wds say they need a wiring diagram for the 4wd.....where do I find one?

It's almost always a vacuum issue, rather than a wiring issue when the 4wd packs in.

There are diagrams on Matt's site.

Odd. If they 'specialise' in 4x4, I would have thought they'd be able to get data on what is after all a pretty common 4x4.

There are not many Surfs in this neck of the woods, so maybe they have not had a lot in.

Once upon a time .....some garages garages in dorset tried to charge me £20 for the haynes manual so they could change the timing belt then £300 for the trouble and learning time....needless to say didnt bother.....same kind of folk that took 4 months to fix the head on the 2.4 and exchanged about £900 didnt know anything about trucks lol learning tho!! (didnt know about this site and you folk at the time tho) eventually found a garage in blandford that was ok (well best you can in blandford!!) learning curve really especialy over ere!!!

Unfortunately, it needed a user log in and password. But I managed to get a wiring diagram for the 4wd. Thanks anyway.

I now need a replacement ECU for a 3rd gen. Anyone got one?

How do you know it's the ECU?

Hi, the garage said it was the ECU as they have the 4wd working now but only when they bypass the ECU.

I don't know if it's the engine or gearbox ECU , sorry.
