  • Gear Stick Light

the other day (well about 6 months ago!) the illumination on the gear stick died. im assuming its a bulb rather than a fuse but before i rip up the trim around the gear stick, i just wanted to check if there is an easier way of finding/changing the faulty bulb? or do i have to take it all apart?
all the fuses are fine (could only find a tiny fuse box in the drivers footwell) and its an auto gearbox.
and info would be great before i take things apart! lol

you will have to take the 4x4 gear stick off to lift the centre panel completly off......and dont drop the spring! lol.
if you cant figure out where to put the pin back, let me know and ill take a pic for you.

I didn't have to, my trim lifted off over the 4x4 lever.

It's nice to be able to easily select gear in the dark again!
