Front Speakers Amplified?

Just curious as to if the front speakers on the kn130's are amplified as well, or can I just wire them up to the speaker outputs on my high power deck with the Toyota adapter.

I replaced the front speakers with some better ones (same size, but slightly modified mounting using a dremel) and fitted a sony head unit - HEAPS better sound. The speakers just connected as normal with the head unit providing the amplification. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input. I went with a Sony deck as well as the price was right, as well I replaced the fronts with the same size and ran them off the deck as suggested. I agree, way better sound. Now I just have to convince the wife my 2 10 inch subs belong in the Surf and not the car
