speedo sensor

h,i all
think i have narrowed the not working speedo down to the sensor as the mileomiter is not working either, can anyone tell me the location of the sensor whitch sends to the speedo i know it is on the side of the gearbox somewhere. also does anyone have one for sale ?

Hi is it a 2.4 or 3.litre, is it manual or automatic. If its 2.4 manual i have one.

i got one from a 3.0l which i think is the same as the 2.4.This is on an auto tho.£20 delivered
