Hatefull Seatbelt Warning Light

The Seatbelt Warning Light stays on all the time and yes I have got my seatbelt on B4 you ask.

Now there seems to be a two core wire that goes into the bottom of the seatbelt fixing for the drivers seat and non on any of the others.

If I were to bridge those two wires will the seatbelt light go off?

Will this cause any other problems?

Will this be soe kind of MOT failure.

Hi Mike,
YES they are only on the drivers seat, and yes if you bridge them the light will go off. But you may find that wirs has worn through if it has been touching the seat rail.

no light at all

My seat belt light doesn't come on at all. Wires at base of drivers seat are intact.

Any ideas how it's wired in?
