door open warning lights

can anyone say wether there should be a door open warning light on the dash?
for the life of me I cant remember wether there should be one or not and I certainly aint got one (apart from the rear door/window combination)

my memory is vague but i always thought the 4-runner /surfs had one!

The Back Door opening warning light only comes to my mind at this moment in time

on a 2nd gen just the rear door/tailgate warning light iff the button is not pushed down

There's also a light if the spare wheel carrier isn't closed on mine!

Yep, got one of those too, I'm just amazed Toyota hasn't put door opening warning on the courtesy circuit, as it's handy to know if rear doors are slightly open, especially with the carrying of small energetic sprogs!!

It's easy enough to fit one,guess that's another project
