Fog lamps... again (sorry!!!)

Well, I've just been given a shipping date for my Surf to leave Japan ... and being an impatient soul, I want to have everthing ready to get it on the road ASAP.

As said before I intend to convert the offside reverse lamp with a red LED bulb.

Could someone with a 2nd Gen, spare wheel on back, rev lamp in light cluster - confirm whether or not one of these bulbs will be suitable ie. the correct size and fitting.

I spoke to my local SVA office last week and they won't accept your idea about the fog lamp. Funny though, it will pass an MOT, but not the SVA! Don't forget to remove the rear wheel carrier and fill all large holes with bungs, oh and all new wiring connected to the fog lamp must be tied down every 300mm!

I intentionally specified a 1994 model... so as to avoid the SVA test.

It also fulfils my main car buying criteria... don't spend more than £5k on a tin box that sits outside the house and rusts, most of the time!!!

BTW - I don't claim it as my idea... it came from HERE.
