tailgate window driving me mad

sorry ive looked everywhere for an answer but cant find one
my rear tailgate window works fine with the switch on the centre consul. however when i try the key in the tailgate it wont go down,but will go up .has anyone got any idea how i can sort this out ,Thanks guys/girls Darrin

i would of thought it would be the wire on the barrel thats the problem.try taking a new length of cable from the barrel to where it connects to and try that

cheers stormforce i traced the wires and found one that looks as though it had been cut for some reason ,ive repaired it and all ok now ,PS the luggage cover cleaned up a treat and looks great thanks
