Odyssey PC1500 Batteries

Hi everyone,

I have a 3rd gen ssrg with twin batteries and I want to replace the original jap batteries with 2 x Odyssey PC1500, I've been told they are a lot better that optimas.

Question is can I do a straight swap or are they too powerful for the electrical system "1500x2 amps at startup". I'm sorry its such a dumb question but anything electrical scares me and I don't want to fry the electrical system.

A rating is always the maximum which can be supplied if required. Any circuit only draws what it actually needs, when it's working correctly.

Thank Matt, just one more question ....... do you know anything about the Odyssey PC1500 ? I've heard they leave the optimas for dead

Check battery dimensions to make sure they will fit. They are big batteries.
