  • Battery Terminal Extenders

Does anyone know of a product that will allow me to extend the battery cables from the current length, so I can connect the new batteries?

I have two new Optima batteries to go on, and measured one up yesterday and the terminals are a little too far in towards the middle for the cables to reach - is there an extender or something that I can use?

    TIA...

It is, but I've hit my maximum number of stupid questions this week.....

I've found a few things looking around, but they are not quite what I'm looking for, but I could improvise one of them.....

I reckon that is eminently 'makeable' from alength of ally bar...

If you dont fancy that, try chandlers.

                BOAT chandlers, muppet!

I had some rather nice new terminals with extra terminals along them for ancilliary connection from an eBay boat chandler.

Just noticed, hanging up in the workshop, my old battery cable that links the two Surf batteries. I'm only using one battery now. It's 46" long, and has a battery clamp both ends.

Yours for the cost of postage.

That means if they stuff up it will be a first class stuff up.

Just like the $500 worth of seals Australia Post lost that I had ordered for the timing belt kits i sell.
