new gauges - is this possible

Last night m8 of mine popped round with his new company car - Toyota Auris SR - not a bad car but useless off road.

Anyhoo the dash is amazin' with all the guages being well trendy (yellow on black with all needles "floating" on the dials).

What I am wondering is would it be possible for a set of Auris guages to be fitted & work in a 3rd gen

Anyone had any experience of swopping gauges (particularily digital ones) and what kinds of problems I'm likely to come across.

Or is it "a bridge too far"

It can be done, you just need to trace what goes where on the back of the gauge cluster and splice the wires in.

I have fitted a Lexus dash to my 2nd gen, I've even got the gear position indicator to light up.
