pack of batt aid tablets and a top up with de-ionised water then a proper charge might help. Or just try one of the batteries from the 2nd gen.' You've arrived on a rather special night. It's one of the master's affairs.'

or if you know the battey is good, do an amps drain test. put yer meter in series on yer negative side of the battery, make sure everythings off interior lights etc, set your meter to 10a and if yer getting a lot more than 0.03 amps try pullin fuses to find out what circuit the drain is on.

is something which is negative switched making intermittent contact somehow, so draining the battery randomly, pull the fuse on the interior light circuit (or take the bulb out if there's other stuff on the same circuit
), and see how it goes, alternatively an immobiliser or alarm that's gone up the swanny can cause battery drain problems.

Worthwhile checking the sockets and such to make sure they're in good nick then. Bulb shouldn't affect it directly, but you could be getting some tracking in or around the sockets or such.Originally posted by BioHazzard View Postbugger i did replace a brake light bulb yesterday after being pulled by traffic plod
