rear light bulbs. 3rd gen

Hi all. I'm trying to fit a new rear bulb to near side rear light.
Do i take off panel in rear to fit? help please.

Also my rear tailgate window switch does not work. Any ideas.

not had surf long but do love it.

Open the boot, remove the two screws holding the unit to the body, remove the bulb holder from the light unit and replace bulb.
As for the tailgate window switch, make sure the little lock button on drivers door isn't pressed in. You can try it with the key in the boot held fully to the left(or right, can't remember).

Thanx m8. After i remove the 2 bolts holding the unit to the body does the light come away or twist outwards? I removed the bolts earlier but didn't want to force anything.

After removing the 2 bolts (inside the tailgate) gently prise the light clustre in the opposite direction (away from the side of the body)
