Drivers window control stopped working..

..to all 4 doors, but windows work fine from their own door. Mirrors, door and window lock button work fine. I guess not the fuse either as they work from the other doors (fuse not under bonnet or drivers kick plate so I guess its behind the glovebox).

I'm off laning in the morning for 2 days and not being able to open my window will drive me mad

Any ideas?

Take the switch out and check the connections, then try wiggling the wires where they transfer from the door to the car to see if you've got a wire broken there.
Check to see if you've got a load of cak in the switch unit.
Have you spilt any drinks on it that could cause bad contacts.

That's all I can think of for now, good luck I just love the bug hunts (not).

What a briliant article Vince ! One of my passenger switches a bit dodgy at momement got whole unit coming of EBAY think I will refurb and test my old one and re sell.
