  • Easy rear window fix

When I first got my surf a couple of months back I posted asking what these switches did; because they didn’t work.

    http://www.hiluxsurf.co.uk/forums/sh...ad.php?t=40642

This weekend was the first chance to get the multimeter and tools out. Gave my self a good few hours and sent the OH shopping. Didn’t want her to here me cussing.

Popped out the switches to check the supplies were there, and found two looms hanging not connected. Pushed the connectors onto the switches and tried them, down went the rear window, up went the idle speed, perfect.

It took me longer to find the multimeter than to do the fix was so happy I even paid my subscription

Now just the starter motor contacts to replace getting an intermittent click click click
