  • Where does the Earth strap connect

The MOT guy found a loose earth strap on my surf which runs down the inner wing on the drivers side from the drivers side battery, could someone have a look for me and see what it's connected to, the steering box appears to be the closest point but I have read suggestion that it should go straight to the block.
(previously added this in the wrong section and got Q's about a V6 if this looks familiar. Mine is a 2.4 TD 91 2nd Gen)
    Many thanks

Its connected to the wing itself, or should be, undo one of the wing bolts and you can put it in between wing and inner wing, and put bolt down through it thus earthing securely, or thats where mine is anyway.
